Index Astartes: Emperor's Champion

The Black Templars pray to the God-Emperor for guidance before battle, calling upon His might to guide their holy vengeance. On rare occasion the spirit of the Emperor will visit a battle-brother and he will become the Emperor's Champion, a powerful warrior bearing blessed relics of the Chapter and fighting with a single unwavering conviction.

The Adeptus Astartes are genetically engineered warriors, created by the Emperor of Mankind and tempered by centuries of bloody warfare. The Index Astartes series explores the origins, tactics and history of the Space Marine Chapters along with their ancient secrets and notable heroes.
